  1. Hey, this’s great. Loved every bit of it. We have made a film in just 50
hours for India Film Project – Asia’s Largest Film Festival 2016. Link to
    our film is
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Q8qytnDQ5Y . Cheers – a 6:43 mins short
film by VDOGRAFFITI team in Bangalore, India. Comments and suggestions are
    welcome.

  2. அருமை தோழரே, i came to oman in 2011 – 4yrs gone 3 marriages in my family
but i din’t went to anyone of it, still trying to save money for my family
can’t able to do it. Really "0" balance in my account i spend my 2yrs
earnings in my loans settlement another 2 years in my family 3 marriage
expenses and now i am with my family in Oman next year marriage fixed for
my wife sister need to go how???? money?money?money????. I want to go back
but due to my wife, my mother i am forced to be in Oman, lets see its like
US to get green card and live its GCC once day i need to go back.

  3. Very realistic dialogue and scenarios …My friend in Detroit used to say
in the 80s "Once Mami gets her drivers license and her own car she stops
talking about going back to India"

  4. A nice presentation. However, what I can see here is that you can’t have a
cake and eat it too. If you are so sissy you shouldn’t be craving for
onsites in the first place. There’s a price to pay for everything and at
onsite you pay price for your personal relations , so to say.
Plus, you can always take a leave of month and a two and travel India, who
is stopping you from doing that?

  5. CHANDRASEKHAR DHULIPUDI

Really nice film focusing on reality. Some times while watching i got tears
out of sentiment and sometimes for the sarcastic dialogues.I appreciate the
whole team for their sincere efforts in presenting such a nice short film.

  6. Good work. The dialogues are to the point and true. Really enjoyed watching
it. It’s a story of a NRI in America not jut NRI in general. Congrats on
    getting the film up. 🙂

  7. Very nice and realistic short film !!!he other side of the valley is not
always green..I think mostly people tend to always highlight the positives
and show as though there is no negative side in the United states life or
for that matter any other economically forward countries . !.Indians
settled in United states also tend to mostly show only their materialistic
side spending a lot when ever they visit in India thus giving an
impression that they are always in a bed of roses in the United states
!!!But this film is very realistic..and people who have made it are too
good in not exaggerating over sentimental but at the same time showing it
    !!!!! well done!!!!

  8. Latha-Hari KALIATH

extreamely well done !! Bravo!!! It is the truth and it is the reality. you
can do the sequel: some NRIs make bold and go back to India and return to
USA in a hurry after the Indian disillusion!!! Trishanku Swarga aayi
poche….And so when we moved 30 years ago we burned the bridge and came.
now that we are retired we visit for 3 months and are relearning India and
really enjoying it but certainly not for more than 3 months. Good to see
the loved ones!! thanks for sharing this beautiful short movied

  9. Karthick Arulmani

I am holding H1B….same dream like him…but now im scared of going
there….I QUIT …..Relationship is more than money..life is only
    once….Really really nice film…eye opener for me….hatsoff!!!!!

  10. Nice .. A subject which haunted me to hold a camera, write a script for the
first time when I was in UK .. But I was back in 6 months and so glad about
it. Good to see this subject filmed.

  11. Sridhar Muniyandi

Kasapana unmai.. This video may help someone to take a good decision,
rather than realize it after 15 years. Thanks a lot for making this short
    film.
